After the whirlwind journey of last week to the quiet recovery I am in now, my mind is starting to clear once again at least enough to write. The last two days have been a blur and after talking with several other friends and reading much it would be safe to say I am not alone in this.

What with the massive influx of energy throughout the Universe from Solar Flares and their Emissions to the powerful Astrological lineups (both western /sun and eastern/moon based) readying for the Spring Equinox (Northern Hemisphere) and the Autumn Equinox (Southern Hemisphere) – all this melding and weaving through the “unprecedented awakening of Mass Consciousness and collapse and exposure of archaic and corrupt structures of World Banking, ($$, Stocks, Precious Metals),  Fossil Energy (Oil Companies), Health and Pharmaceuticals,  (FDA, AMA, Insurance, Etc.)  Food Gene Manipulation (Monsanto, Etc), Weather and Earth Changes (HAARP, Nexrad, earthquakes, etc) Education and Media – so many people everywhere are finding their worlds and lives turned upside down, inside out with no emotional or psychological preparation or fall-back plans. The experts are just as lost as anyone else!

At this amazing time in our evolution – the ending of “one 26,000 year Sun/Earth (patriarchal influence) cycle to the beginning of another 26,000 year cycle (matriarchal influence) ” WE, as the Current People of Earth, have agreed to play the massive variety of “ROLES and CHARACTERS in the PLAY OF A LIFETIME to CREATE the NEW EARTH.”  There is no prepared script….it is being written with each thought, desire, fear, action, step, interaction, hesitation, moment of time and space…..based on what has been before……to evolve into what will be…….by no means an easy path filled with highs and lows in all magnitudes…….all ultimately pushing TRUTH of Heart and Soul of Our Humanity to the surface and into the vast openness of Life’s Light.

Out of the Blue…..Goddess of Nature and Mystery School Merge

An invitation came via email to do a presentation of my labyrinth at the Temple of Isis in Geyserville, CA (about 1 1/2 north of San Francisco). Rolling vineyard covered hills and high volcanic ranges are the signatures of the Sonoma County region.

I had heard of “The Temple” and greatly looked forward to learning more.  As  the name implies, Geyserville is or perhaps more correctly was the gateway to California’s great boiling wonders like “Old Faithfull” from the late 1860s to when the utility conglomerates (like PG&E) took over, constructed a massive hyrdoelectric system and closed “all Mother Nature’s Magic” to the public.  Now Geyserville is still a very small town of a couple of market, antique stores, restaurants and wine-tasting rooms.

Located on Geyserville Road, just before the new fire station and hidden behind a facade of lush growth is the Temple of Isis and visionary founder and protector, Rt. Reverend LOREON VIGNÉ, Arch Priestess of Isis.  For those unfamiliar with the ancient stories which abound of Egyptian Goddess Isis and her consort Osiris – Isis is known as the Goddess of Nature. Their story of love reads like the original soap opera (love, jealousy, betrayal, loss, searching, resurrection, boundless love)

For more than thirty years Rev. Loreon has created and watched over this sacred place and I can attest, there is magic, beauty and great metaphoric lessons everywhere – at least from my perspective. Rev. Loreon now eighty years young, petite in height her presence is everywhere – creative, artistic, bohemian, grounded, comfortable and more patient at times with the animal world than the human community. I think this has more to do with our (humans) loss of the real connection to telepathic language which is the essence of the other species. Human communication, language and meanings cause great misunderstanding, confusion and sometimes manipulation in varying degrees…..Living and learning in community is important to our growth.

I learned that this location, prior to her arrival was a community of the Baha’i faith for more than seventy years. All the building date back to then. The focal point on the grounds is a magnificent 500 year old oak tree, designated as protected by the Heritage Society. Standing or sitting under the great arbor is a powerful yet quiet experience.

Not only does the natural setting grab attention. It is also home and sanctuary to a vast array of exotic and endangered birds and ocelots. View the lovely video on the Temple of Isis website.

It is here I also play “devil advocate” in regards to the Sanctuary for those readers in opposition to such conditions for the animal and bird worlds. If We as Humanity did create, live and honor a “perfect balanced world” there would be no need for protection of any species. But of course that is not the case.

For all these years Rev. Loreon slowly became the Protectoress, probably never expecting the scope and time commitment involved. So many of the birds have been either gifted or sent for caring by people and organization without the knowledge or facilities to do the same. Today even though the sanctuary facility is now in need of improvement and renovation (which is a Vision and Priority for the near future and Donations of funds, building materials and in-kind services would be greatly accepted) the daily care, feeding and interaction with all wildlife is heartfelt, gentle and professional. The Sanctuary  is also a wonderful education experience for children and adults alike. Rev. Loreon has two books available “The Goddess Bade Me Do It” and “Lots and Lots of Ocelots”. Most of the art, pottery and building decorations have also done by Loreon over the years.

An extensive group of volunteers and residents of the property take their care roles very seriously, for some “it is the opportunity of a lifetime!” The large “family” of Ocelots are Rev. Loreon’s passion. To the ancient Egyptians and most especially the Goddess Isis, the Cat held great reverence and for more than forty years Loreon has been known as Cat Priestess and Authority of Ocelots. Most of the cats presently on the property were born here, as were their parents and possibly parents before that.

Several comments made during the tour really caught my attention and understanding in regards to the cats…...”here the cats have mates and are able to breed safely. They learn what love is! In the wild there is always the need and stress for protection from predators especially with birthing/teaching of cubs, searching for food, territory and mating battles not to mention poachers, hunters and loss of natural areas. When a litter is born here there is extra attention given so all will thrive.

Sharing the Labyrinth…

The overcast skies and drizzle did hold off just long enough to have the labyrinth under the oak tree for a while. After introductions and telling the labyrinth story thus far two young brothers “walked it” and all watching marveled at the expansion of their auric/energy fields from before to afterwards. Later more people walked it and had their very special experiences in the dry and warm Isis Theater.  There is always so much more to the experience that “just the walk”……messages, medicine songs and healings are transmitted to a point that the air has an electric, other world sparkle. This is what I love!

Over the next few days of my stay at Isis, so many wonderful meetings and synchronicity abounded. Talking to and learning about many of those who lived and volunteered there, the talents and expertize spanned the gamut of education, dance, cuisine, science, videography,  peacemaking, accounting, art, carpentry, gardening  and more.

Harnessing Mother Nature….

During one of the readings I did reference to the power of the geysers came up and I felt the need to learn more and take a visit up the mountains. The next day under drearier skies I drove that way. Even with directions I still missed the “right road” and ended on a narrow one-land road full of twists and turns heading to the top. Loreon had lent me a small booklet written in 1875 by W.L – the author’s only identity. He stated the journey of 26miles from the geysers to Calistoga included 15 miles and 275 curves, 4 1/12 miles = 143 curves – one can only imagine the hair-raising experience in a coach drawn by four horses! I took to Pine Flat Road all the way to the gates blocking entry into the geyser valley. Sadly, us travelers will never get to experience such amazing beauty and power in pristine natural settings! So is the price of modern progress!

Apparently the power from this Hydroelectric Plant, powered from the volcanic geyser steam provides 60% of the electricity from the Oregon border to south of San Francisco Bay area.
